She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennett Walker and Elizabeth Key Whitehead (Blackman); her husband Billy Nicholson; and her siblings, Sara Whitfield, Joan Debes and James Whitehead.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sally (Steve Noelle) and Suzie (Marty Schroeder); her grandsons, Ray Noelle (Rachel), Andy Noelle (Nikki), Nick Schroeder (Arra Pearl) and Justin Schroeder (Kelly); Jack, Isabelle, Lorelai Noelle, Stellan and Charlie Schroeder.
