We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2020, at the age of 94, Jane Downing (Mulberry, Indiana), born in Camden, Indiana passed away. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Brookshire and Emma Brookshire (Plant); her husband Leonard Downing; her daughters, Judith Kathleen Tignor and Connie Sue Tignor; her siblings, Ruth Rees, Rena Turner, Raymond Brookshire, Ruby Simons, Jula Becker and Joan Adams; and her son-in-law Robert D. Tignor, Sr..

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Kimberly McCormick (Marcus "Ted") of Mesa, AZ, Jerry L. Tignor (Carrie) of Lafayette and Robert D. Tignor Jr. (Dannielle) of Wingate; her great grandchildren, Brandon McCormick (Rachel), Austin McCormick, Colton Tignor, Kylie Tignor, Kinsey Tignor and Cole Tignor; her son-in-law Jerry R. Tignor of Lafayette; and her sister Elda "Pat" Miller (Robert) of Carmel. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Monday, June 1, 2020 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello observing current COVID 19 guidelines. Funeral services celebrating Jane's life will be at 1:00 pm Monday at the funeral home observing current COVID 19 guidelines.
