He was predeceased by : his parents, Leonard Hoon and Beatrice Hoon (Simmons); his sons, Shannon Hoon and Tim Forkeotes; and his sister Barbara Blair Joyner.
He is survived by : his former life partner Nel Hodge; his daughter Anna Hirst of West Lafayette; and his grandchildren, Tim, Nick, Ashley, Tiahna, Grace, Hope, Haines and Nico. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, nieces and a nephew and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, go out and have a few beers and toast Hooner.
