She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Burtner and Bessie Burtner (Parmer); her husband Gerald "Gene" Jones; her siblings, Judith Jones and Bob Burtner; her son Kelly Jones; and her stepson Charles "Bill" Jones (Tamra).
She is survived by: her daughter Jo Ellen Plowdrey (Joseph); her daughters-in-law, Martha Jones and Kim Jones; her grandchildren, Marcie Snider (Joseph), Jillian Schuring (Mark), Laura Atkins (Thomas), Nickelle Nelson (Craig), Steven Jones, Andrew Plowdrey, Joseph A. Plowdrey, Christopher Jones (Lyndsey) and Monica Harvey (Andrew); and her pet Maggie. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Elm Ridge Funeral Home (4600 W Kilgore Ave, Muncie, IN 47304). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
