He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Harty (Conley); his children, Johnnie G. Harty of Muncie, Ronnie Harty of Muncie, Willard Harty of Muncie, Stephen W. Harty of Muncie, Shawn Harty of Muncie, Betty Roberts and Lindy Ann Smeltzer; his siblings, Ronald Harty, William Harty, Larry Harty and Sonya K. Patterson; his daughter-in-law Karina Harty of Wellsville; and his child Burnet Avenue. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; forty two great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
