It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorie Thomas (Muncie, Indiana), who passed away on February 27, 2018, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Pegues and Ophelia Pegues; her grandparents, Ira Pegues, Rosie Pegues, Walter Miller and Willie Mae Miller; and her siblings, Jessie Pegues Jr, Willie Campbell, Ira Pegues, David Campbell, Sylvanus Benson and Debra Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Johnette Price (Donald) of Muncie, William T. Thomas Sr of Muncie, Arite Thomas of Muncie and ZoAnthony Thomas of Muncie; her stepchildren, Faye Williams (Joe) of Muncie, James Thomas of Texas, Deara Thomas of Muncie, Anthony "Buddy" Watkins, Brent Thomas, Elissa Thomas (Quincy) of Raleigh, North Caroline of Chicago, Cin-Quea Thomas-Narvez (Chris) of Chicago, Kusan Thomas (Darius) of Chicago, Jihan Thomas (Brandon) of Chicago and John Thomas II of Chicago; her grandchildren, Treva Long, Trena Long and Lorie Branson; her sisters, Della Robinson of San Diego, Roxanne Pegues of Muncie, Loretta Pegues of Muncie, Rena Mae Pegues of Muncie and Esther Pegues of Muncie; her stepsister Deloris Elmore of Ft; and her brothers, Robert Campbell of New York, Tyree Campbell of Dayton and Wendell Pegues of Muncie. She is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
