It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Isabelle (Mitchell) Byers (Muncie, Indiana), born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mitchell and Mary Mitchell (Dickerson); her husband Marvin E. Byers; her son Barney Byers; her grandson John Byers; and her siblings, Jack Johnson, Don Johnson, Robert Johnson, Gary Mitchell, Max Mitchell and Phyllis LaVelle.
She is survived by: her daughters, June Miller (Sam) of Muncie, Susie Rhoades of Fort Worth, TX and Sally Cook; and her grandchildren, Carrie Schad (Bob), Matthew Schad (Sara), John Miller (Angie), Greg Miller (Yvonne), Jessica Rose, Danny Rhoades (Esther) and Kim Byers. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
