It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba J. May (Muncie, Indiana), born in Union City, Indiana, who passed away on March 8, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Cox and Mildred Cox (Furrow); and her son Bill May. She is survived by : her husband Rex May; her children, Randy May (Melody) and Janet Smithson (Edward); her grandchildren, Sean May (Tim Oren), Shelby May, Heather Wood (Justin), Linda Tharp (Eric), Leslie Sanders (Lance), Louella Cooper (Scott) and Cody May; her great grandchildren, Chandler, Jordan Tucker, Maeley, Mabrey Wood, Palmer Perry, Abby, Jack Cooper, Madelyn, Maxwell Tharp, Jonathan, Levi, Seth, Price, Alexus Sanders and Taylor May; and her brother Keith Cox (Alice). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart & American Stroke Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674 in memory of Melba.
