With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Silinda F. Hollingsworth of Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on April 20, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Silinda's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Silinda has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Burris and Angie Myrtle Burris (Carrol); her husband Richard J. Hollingsworth; her daughter Tonya Rector; and her grandson Rodney "Boomer" Hammond Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Rick Hammond (Melanie), Tammy Dye (Joe), Rodney Hammond and Treva Conley (Melfred); and her brothers, Ronnie Burris (Paula) and Donnie Burris (Alice). She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
