He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvador Cornejo Campos and Guadalupe Magallanes Alvarez; and his siblings, Jesus (Consuelo Campos), Elizandro (Raquel Campos), Salvador (Elvira Haro), Angelina (Manuel Campos), Elvira (Pilar Estrada), Maria, Gracia (Jesus Cornejo) and Audelia (Francisco Mota).
He is survived by: his wife Margarita Figueroa; his children, Lydia Margarita, Alberto (Eva), Hector S. (Gloria) and Jose J. Cornejo; his grandchildren, Salvador (Priscila) and Gabriela; and his brother Luis Cornejo Magallanes (Maria).
