He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; and his brothers, Angelo and George. He is survived by: his children, Jim Sakelaris, George Sakelaris (Carole), Peter Sakelaris (Stacia), Frank Sakelaris (Thea) and Mary Zmuda (Jim); and his sisters-in-law, Katherine Sakelaris and Nicki Sakelaris. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other living relatives.
