He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. O'Donnell and Verna O'Donnell (Shelbourne); and his brothers, Harold and Howard O'Donnell. He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Deborah (Larry) and Jeffrey (Patti); his grandchildren, Clancy and Rory; his brother James (Gloria); and his sisters-in-law, Andrea Nauracy (Robert) and Barbara O'Donnell. He is also survived by two nieces; and many nephews.
