He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irwin Kopenec and Rita Kopenec; his wife Carol; his children, Cindy McCraw (Fred), Steven Kopenec (Erin) and Rob Kopenec (Angela); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Joey McCraw, Clara Kopenec, Connor and Maksim Kopenec. He was also cherished by 5 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
Donald I. Kopenec, 76, of Munster, IN passed peacefully on December 30, 2020 from Covid-19 complications.
