She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Dines and Nancy Dines (Geren); her husband John Poloncak; her daughter Denise Caprio; and her siblings, Arthur "Bud" Dines, Jack Dines and Bette Palermo.
She is survived by: her daughter Cerise Groch of Culver; her grandchildren, Jason Groch (Stefanie) of Lisle, IL, Jacob Groch of Lombard, IL, Nicole Caprio of St. John, IN and Christopher Caprio of St. John, IN; and her great grandchild Guiliana Groch.
