He was predeceased by: his mother Tillie Muskoski (Miazga); and his brother-in-law Donald Palla Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his sister-in-law Jeanette Palla; his sibling's children, Kathy Palla, Karen Kovach (Joe), Mark Palla, Don Palla (Kathy) and Joe Palla; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Joe Kovach (Wendy), Ben Palla (Bess), Matt Palla (Colleen), Katie Palla and Erica Kovach; Christina Kovach and Flora Pera.
