She was predeceased by: her husband Henry George Hales; and her daughters, Jaclynn and Sandra. She is survived by: her children, Darryl Hales (Jamie), John Hales (Jill) and Sharon Keilman (Ralph). She is also survived by grandchildren, and three loving great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Elaine to the Breast Cancer Society.
