He is survived by: his children, John Couwenhoven (Nancy), Patrick Couwenhoven, Carl Couwenhoven (Maggie) and Dan Couwenhoven; his grandchildren, Shawn, Andy, Sarah, Josh, Nathan, Kiley and Aiden; his sibling Dolores; and his stepchildren, Vicki, Robin, Rick and William.
