It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian E. Gunia (Munster, Indiana), born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on January 21, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John S. Gunia, Sr.; and her siblings, Frank Gryzbek, Joseph Gryzbek and Catherine Brynner. She is survived by: her children, John S. Gunia (Nina), Kenneth M. Gunia, Mary Ellen B. Slazyk (Roy) and Anthony G. Gunia (Susan); her grandchildren, Carey Eckdahl, Erin Gunia, Matthew Gunia, Mary K., Elizabeth, Alexandra Kaminski, Eric and Christina Gunia; her great grandchildren, David, Joshua, Robert, Jack, Julianna, John, Kacee, Jaleah, Zachary and A. J.; and her sisters, Helen Lasicz and Veronica Whitico (Michael). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
