He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Pieters and Bernice Pieters; and his brother Robert Pieters. He is survived by: his wife Diane Pieters; his daughters, Constance Jani, Melissa Pieters and Melinda DeCoste (Bill); his grandchildren, Kyle Oppenhuis, Luke Oppenhuis, Molly Jani and Kevin DeCoste; his sister Marcia Litera (Joseph); and his siblings-in-law, Edward Olszewski Jr., Mary Lou Pieters and Barbara Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Calumet Area in his memory would be appreciated.
