With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Ruiz of Munster, Indiana, born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on July 25, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rolando; her children, Rolando, Jr. (Kathy McNinch) and Ruth Ruiz; her siblings, Francisco Ponce (Martha), Mario Ponce and Grace Cruz; her friends, JoAnne Huerta and Virginia Havily; and her parents, Francisco Ponce and Blasa Ponce. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Whiting "Gimme Shelter" (for pets), would be appreciated.
