He was predeceased by: his parents, Cipriano and Carmen; his brother Dwight; and his nephew Dwight Jr. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Carl Gamez (Krystal) and Renee Gamez; his aunts and uncles, Jess Gamez, Raymond Gamez (Delia), Christine Gamez, Barbara Negrete and Maria Negrete; his daughter Rachel M. Inman; and his granddaughter Grace M. Anspach. He is also survived by ten uncles, and five aunts.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family in Richard Gamez's name.
