He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Jean Hanus; his parents, Sigmund James Hanus and Victoria Hanus; his siblings, Richard Hanus and Alice Clark; and his nephew Michael Hanus.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Ward (David), Nancy Hehemann (David), Rob Hanus (Marnye Harr) and Dianne Webber (David); his grandchildren, Michael Hanus, Carl Hehemann, Matthew, Christopher Hanus, Derek, Ryan Webber, Ava Ols and Jasmine Haje; and his sister Leona Cornish.
