He was predeceased by: his sibling Johnie; and his parents, Zygmunt Okninski and Katherine Schambach. He is survived by: his wife Susan Okninski; his children, Denise, David (Carrie), Sheila and Steven; his granddaughters, Elena and Hannah; and his sibling Tadeusz (Donna).
