She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Schoon and Kathryn Schoon; and her sister Cheryl Kortenhoven. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Ballard (Robert) and Gary McNamara Jr. Dear; her grandchildren, Will Leary, Heather Ballard (Brandon Miller), Michelle Feige (Adam), Kelly Ballard, Emily McNamara and Jeffrey Ballard; her great grandchild Caleb Feige; and her siblings, Karen Gist (late Charles), Donna Maxcy, Judy Rude (Robert), Richard Schoon Jr. (Debbie) and Robert Schoon (Cheryl).
Memorials may be given to Teen Missions International or Elim Christian Services.
