It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Liebner (Munster, Indiana), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 1, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Betty Liebner (Busse); his sister Dolores Pendrey; and his nephew Wayne Pendrey. He is survived by: his children, Kathi Popovich (Mike), Beth Gulvas (Dave), Donna Batty (Drew), Nancy Sparano (Frank) and Laura Seliger (Al); and his grandchildren, James Zielinski (Lori), Tony Generalli, Kara Gulvas, Meghan Gulvas, Alyssa Batty, Alexa Batty and Gabby Sparano.
