He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Bell and Dorothy Grinstead Bell; his daughter Anna; his siblings, Richard, Donald Bell and Carol Green; and his son-in-law Scott Sampson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Drake of Nashville; his daughter Misty Sampson of Nashville; and his siblings, Nola Burton of Columbus and Wayne Bell (Linda) of Columbus. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
