He is survived by: his son Keith Welty (Valerie) of Parkville, MO; his wife Marlene Robards (Dougherty); his children, Lori Robards Bowman of New Whiteland, IN, Gregory Robards (Sara) of Needham, Gary Robards (Marla) of Indianapolis and Beth Tharpe (Thomas) of Trafalgar; his grandchildren, Nick Bowman (Laura), Geoffrey Bowman, Samantha Ensign (Jon), Gretchen Robards, Taylor Robards (Lauren), Austin Welty, Alyssa Welty, Hudson Welty, Ryan Welty, Annika Welty, Jordan Welty, Faith Welty, Shelden Welty, Grant Welty, Elaina Robards, Quinn Robards, Clayton Robards, Riley Tharpe (Paige), Gabrielle Tharpe and Eliza Tharpe; his great grandchildren, Adrienne and Sonny Bowman; his sister Marianne Berlin (Robert) of Avon, IN; and his nephews, Aaron Berlin (Kate) of Wilmette, IL and Thomas Berlin (Allison) of Roseville, MN. He is also survived by four step-children.
