It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty J. Bohannon (New Albany, Indiana), who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvin Bratcher and Eula Bratcher (Harlow); her sisters, Valeria Ann Bratcher and Norma Leister; and her son-in-law Steve Harkins.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Bohannon; her children, James Ballinger (Nina), Donna Poole (David) and Sandy Harkins; her sister Charlotte Bohlman; and her grandchildren, Melissa Poole, Kyle Harkins, Ashley Luckett (Eric) and Lauren Sharrock (Jake). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the American Legion (2800 W Main St, Louisville, KY 40212).
