He is survived by: his wife Karen Akers Boyd; his son Bailey Boyd; his stepchildren, Chris Curry of Collin Curry and Alexandria McKinley of Demi McKinley; his siblings, Sarah Crane (Jerry Clemons) and Gene Bottorff (Gaynell); and his stepgrandson Waylon Cooper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
