She was predeceased by: her parents, Carolyn Wayne and Charlie Wayne; and her brother Darren. She is survived by: her husband Sean; and her sons, Ian and JC.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church (5719 St Marys Rd, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119).

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Candace's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society (1640 Lyndon Farm Court, Suite 104, Louisville, KY 40223) or the Norton Cancer Institute (676 South Floyd Street, Louisville, KY 40202).

We hadn’t remained in touch, but I have such wonderful memories of our years working together and hanging out socially while at GP in the 90’s.
