She is survived by: her son Michael Andrew "Andy" Best; her stepsons, Bryan Tegarden and Jason Tegarden; her brother Jerry Hitner; her sister-in-law Pam Blasius; her grandsons, Michael, Nicholas and Joseph; and her friend James Settle.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's name may be contributed to the American Heart Association.
