He was predeceased by: his wife Nora Newman (Turnbough). He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Shaw (Scott), Tess Summers (Carry) and Vanessa Harden (Kevin); his brother Robert Eugene Newman (Twyla); his grandchildren, Ashlee Coats (Chad), Kevin Shaw (Laura), Benjamin Worrell (Annaliesa), Bronwyn Worrell, Braden Worrell (Jordan), Bryce Worrell (Abigail), Brianna Summers (Tyler), Brandilyn Pham (Nhat), Brock Worrell and Bethany Worrell; and his great grandchildren, Beckett Shaw, Declan Shaw, Nolan Coats, Gannon Coats, Hayden Pfingston, Ellie Jane Pfingston, Thomas "Toby" Worrell, Elliot "Eli" Worrell and Iris Joy Worrell.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Culbertson Baptist Church (4007 Grant Line Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
