He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rannells Sr. and Wanda Marshall (Fouts); his son-in-law Martin Grider; and his grandson Joshua Grider. He is survived by: his caregiver Mary Hines; his grandchildren, Amelia Seidl, Zak Seidl (Leslie), Alisha Long (Eric), Ashlee Nance (Andrew), Victoria Kahl (Mitchell), Kyle Grider (Meagan), Dylan Grider (Anna), Kaleb Hines, Amy Hines, Ava Hines, Cole Hines, Callahan Hines, Dylan Williams, Jagger Williams and Marley Williams; Gregg Seidl (Corrine), Kelly Campbell, Lisa Grider (David Kahl), Scott Hines (Beth) and Kenny Hines (Renee).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150).
