He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fancher (Beverly) and Wilma Williams (Jesse); and his nephew Christopher Roach. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Christina Dodson, Thomas Dodson (Jennifer) and Julie Dodson; his grandchildren, Kayla and Jack; his sisters, Donna Snow (Kenneth) and Connie Sachleben (Danny); and his nieces and nephews, Michelle, Shannon, Jeremy and Adam. He is also survived by several cousins and many close friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at the Stamper Creek Cemetery (3400 Base Rd, Paoli, IN 47454).

The family requests that contributions in Danny's memory be made to Wounded Warriors or American Cancer Society.
