He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Earl Alford and Alice Beach Berry; his brother Joseph Carl Alford; his stepfather Herman L. Berry; and his stepbrother Herman L. Berry Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Lee Alford and Roy Lee Alford; his granddaughter Kassy D. Alford; and his siblings, Edna Lee Thompson, Barbara Faye Jordan, Vicki Lynn Carnes, Norma Gale Maitland and Kevin W. Berry. He is also survived by four great granddaughters.
