She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert B. Mercer and Effie E. Mercer; her son Terry Rager; her siblings, Jimmy Mercer, Jewell Mercer, Gladys Huffman and Lizzie Roach; and her son-in-law Jerry Cheatham.
She is survived by: her children, Robert, Richard, Russell Rager and Janice Cheatham; and her sister Alice Levan. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
