He was predeceased by: his wife Vera; his son Kevin; his parents, Glenn B. Beaty and Ethel Beaty; and his sisters, Lucille Jackson and Sally Gobel.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas R. Beaty (Trena) and Janet Jarson (Phil); his sister Virginia Opel (Richard); his grandchildren, Matt, Amber, Lexi and Kylie; and his great grandchildren, Adrian and Elliot. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to be made to Parkinson's Foundation or Bluegrass Honor Flight.
