She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward Vandyke and Eva Sexton VanDyke; and her great grandchild Coan Barger. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Morehouse (Rick), Lori Barger and Mark Brisson (Lisa); her grandchildren, Todd Alexander, Jr., AJ Barger (Sarah), Brent Barger (Kali) and Corey Brisson; her great grandchildren, Layton Barger and Bo Barger; and her siblings, Gary VanDyke (Brenda) and Beverly Sellars (Will). She is also survived by several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kraft Funeral Service (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM.
She later worked at the Presbyterian Church Foundation, retiring in 2013 after many years of dedicated service.
