He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Woodard and Helen Brown Woodard; his stepson Freddy White III; his grandson Seth Woodard; and his sister Georgia Snadon.
He is survived by: his wife Viola Woodard; his sons, Jeffrey Woodard (Rosita) and Bryan Woodard; and his stepchildren, Jacquelyn Betts (Tracy), Anthony White and Amanda White. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park (2778 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150).
