She was predeceased by: her parents, Lot Green and Mary Green; her former husband Dr. Donald LaFollette; her husband John Joseph Hale, Sr.; her sister Charlotte Baker; and her great grandchildren, Sam Newton and Webb DeMoss.
She is survived by: her children, Jude LaFollette, Martha McLain, Donna Andre (Bob), Laura Gipe (Ben) and Will LaFollette (Lidia); her stepchildren, Joe Hale (Linda) and Jerry Hale (Pat); and her sister Mary Jane Bridgwater Reed. She is also survived by her children and step-children, fourteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
