He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Hooker and Ruby Bruce Hooker; and his wife Jo Neal Hooker. He is survived by: his daughter Shelly J. Burdine (Larry) of Louisville, KY; his sister Betty Singer of New Washington, IN; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Lothery of New Washington and Linda Jackson of Charlestown, IN.; and his niece Betty Lou Purlee of New Washington.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Grayson Funeral Home - Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Charlestown Cemetery (522 Madison St, Charlestown, IN 47111).
