He was predeceased by: his wife Allie Leffler (Edmonson); his son Luther Keith Leffler; and his siblings, Lawrence "Dutch" Leffler and Madeline Hottle. He is survived by: his daughter Marsha Sowders; his grandchildren, Kirk Sowders, Clinton Sowders and Rita "Susie" Cates (Jody); his niece Karen Gehlbach; and his nephew Greg Hottle. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
