With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin Arthur Whitten (New Albany, Indiana), born in Princeton, Indiana, who passed away on July 19, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whitten and Authelia Whitten (Slinker); his grandson Jeff Johnson; and his siblings, Dorothy Mae, June and Jimmy.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jane Whitten (Hollen); his children, Janie Estes (John), Becky Johnson (Gary), Cathy Cogswell (Tom) and Tim Whitten; and his daughter-in-law Mari Beth Whitten. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
