He is survived by: his children, Ruby Bowling and Gerald Ambers (Jennifer Gilstrap); and his siblings, Roy, Clara Mae, Elizabeth, Judy, Roger, Louis, Freddy, Herman, Joanne, Eddie, Dale, Charles and Stephan. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
