We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2019, at the age of 97, Robert Oakes (New Albany, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Frances M. Oakes; his parents, Robert Oakes and Katie Oakes; and his siblings, Marvin Oakes and Wilma Parr.

He is survived by: his children, Alicia Lynne Oakes, Randy Oakes (Missy) and Douglas Oakes (Gail); and his grandchildren, Brandon Oakes (Elise), Brianne Linck (Joe), Remy Richard (Lauren), Jennifer Soroken (Arthur), Nicholas Oakes (Jessica), Jeananne Koetter (Jake) and Callie Oakes. He is also survived by 7 Great Grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Mark's United Church of Christ.
