He is survived by: his children, Sydney Hood (Dexter Vertrees) of New Albany, Indiana and Sladen Hood of New Albany, Indiana; the mother of his children Susan Hood of New Albany, Indiana; his grandsons, Enzo Alexander Vertrees and Liam Vertrees; and his brother Jason Hood of Louisville, Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
