She was predeceased by: her husband Bret Schmitt; her son Adam Schmitt; and her parents, Glenn Swanson and Milda Swanson. She is survived by: her children, Forrest Schmitt and Krystal Schmitt; her sister Donna Paprocki (Norb); and her siblings-in-law, Cindy Martin and Andrew Schmitt.
