He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Thomerson and Mary Thomerson (Goodman); his wife Pattie; his children, Christopher Thomerson, William Thomerson, Julie West and Natalie McKinney; his son-in-law Matt McKinney; and his brother Douglas Thomerson.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg Thomerson and Shawney West; his brother David Thomerson; his grandchildren, Jennifer Moran (Cory), Christopher Thomerson, Anna Henderson (Shane), Patrick McKinney (Lauren Williams), Kyle McKinley (Danielle Voyles), Karey Sweasy (Ryan Goode) and Sarah McKinney; his sister-in-law Diane Thomerson; and his friend Valerie Steinlander.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in his memory to that organization.
