It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mary Dickerson of New Castle, Indiana, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Hart and Greta Hart (Hobbs); her husband Gene Dickerson; her children, Jeffrey Stahlbush and Theresa Abell; her siblings, Edward Hart Jr. (Billie), Bernadine Harrell, Jessie Foreman (Noel) and John Hart (Mary Jo); her stepgrandchildren, Ben Shallenberger and Jessica Wantz; her brother Roger; and her sister-in-law Freida Painter.

She is survived by : her sister Jo Ann Stoltz of Portland, IN; her daughter Roberta Stahlbush of New Castle; her grandchildren, John Owens of Mebane, NC, Michelle Thornburg of New Castle, Autumn Gibson and Aleigha Jane Brown (Darrell) of Anderson; her stepchildren, Carol Madison of Pensacola, FL, Nancy Dickerson of Pensacola, FL, Greg Dickerson (Rose) of New Castle and Susie Wantz (Mike) of New Castle; her stepgrandchildren, Tisha Clayborn, Derek Madison, Curtis Madison, Bradley Wantz and Christopher Wantz; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Taylor, Mia, Ethan, Evan and Mateo; her great great grandchild Tamia; and her sisters-in-law, Billie Hart of Winchester and Mary Jo Hart of Jasper. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
