He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Swoveland and Gladys Swoveland (Brown); his wife Mary Swoveland (Rush); his son Ernie Swoveland; his great grandchild Andrew Hilsky; his brother Fred Swoveland; and his sister-in-law Iva Jane Swoveland.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Ring (Tom) and Sandi Robinson (Dwain); and his grandchildren, Jeff Ring, Craig Ring (Mary Jo), Tami Bache (Mike), Ken Robinson (Diane) and Shane Robinson (Kelly). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
